Another Great First Day!
As the summer ended I looked more and more forward to the new school year! There is always so much excitement on the first day; and why shouldn’t there be? It is a time where we meet new friends, learn new rules, and begin our journey of growth on our way to 1st grade. So many things happen in Kindergarten like learning to read, learning to write, building or expanding math knowledge, science, engineering, that it is hard not to get excited just thinking about all the things your child will learn while in Kindergarten. Some students may come to kindergarten that first day excited but others may be nervous or scared. No matter what they feel on that first day, at the end of the year they have grown as students and learners. In addition to growing as students and learners they will also grow in size. On our first day we took pictures of each student holding a “1st Day” frame. These photos are all up on this website and can be found on the “Class Photos” page. We will be taking another photo similar to this on the 100th day of kindergarten. I hope you all are looking forward to the growth and learning that your child will gain during kindergarten.
