First Week

Our first week of school was great....and VERY hot!!! We spent a lot of time getting to know each other, our classrooms, and the school. We did a lot of fun activities including a school tour and a welcoming all-school assembly. We worked very hard to learn all of the new rules and routines of Kindergarten. Students are already beginning to become more independent at school and learning how to do many new things on their own! This week we also started in our Literacy, Math, and Writing curriculum and will begin our Science, Social Studies, and Engineering, next week as well! We hope your child enjoyed their first week as much as we have, and we look forward to a great rest of the year!
